Is Cartix a licensed drug inventory system?
Cartix handles batch, expiry and billing. It is not a substitute for the statutory registers and licences your pharmacy is required to maintain — check your state drug control requirements before switching any record-keeping to software.
Can I use a barcode scanner, weighing scale and my existing printers?
Cartix supports barcode scanning, weight-embedded barcodes in two common formats, 58mm and 80mm receipts, A4/A5 invoices, and TSPL thermal label printers in the 203 DPI class. A4 barcode sheets are also available. Share your exact device models in a demo so we can check your setup.
Does every counter work if the internet or main computer goes off?
Core desktop billing works without internet. Connected LAN counters require their main hub and local network; they cannot bill if that hub is off. Independent hubs work offline and sync when internet returns. Owner live views, online orders and other connected services require internet and an active AMC.
Can I start with one counter and add more later?
Yes. The desktop licence includes one counter, with additional LAN counters at ₹2,499 each, one time. The main hub and local network must remain available for connected counters.
Are the Android apps available, and what does the trial include?
Cartix Mobile, Cartix Team and Cartix Fields are available on Android. Companion access is included while your shop AMC is active. The desktop trial includes 3 products and 10 bills. Book a demo to see the setup and apps relevant to your business.
