We revise the AMC at most once a year and never by more than 10%. That cap is written into our terms.
Additional billing counter
₹2,499one time, per counter
For a second, third or fourth machine billing in the same shop over your LAN. Same catalogue, same stock, bill numbers that never clash. Bought once like the licence, and covered by the one shop AMC — counters carry no AMC of their own.
Cartix Watch — the AI add-on
₹199per month
AI bill scanning and the rest of the intelligent layer, available with a separate subscription and internet connection. Monthly on purpose: it is the one thing that costs us money every time you use it, so a payment made once cannot cover it.
Cartix Mobile
Alongside your counter, the phone apps are covered by your shop AMC. For a shop running on the phone alone with no counter machine, Cartix Mobile takes its own licence — free up to 10 bills and 10 products, then ₹799 a year for Basic or ₹1,499 a year for Pro.

Questions about pricing
Is ₹17,999 really a one-time payment?
Yes. It is a perpetual licence for Cartix Desktop in one shop, and the first year of AMC is included in it. There is no renewal you must pay to keep billing — the software on your counter is yours from the day you activate it.
What happens if I stop paying the AMC?
Your billing does not stop. Billing, stock, purchases, GST reports, printing and local backups keep running on your machine forever. What pauses is everything that runs on our servers — cloud sync, cloud backup, the online store, and the phone apps going read-only — along with feature updates and support. Pay the AMC again and all of it comes back.
Then why have an AMC at all?
Because the cloud side costs us money every month per shop, and support costs time every week. The rule we price by is simple: anything that runs on your own machine you buy once, and anything that runs on ours you pay for while you use it.
Will the AMC price go up later?
It can, but never by surprise. We revise it at most once in any twelve months and by no more than 10%, and that cap is written into our terms of service. A revision applies from your next renewal, never in the middle of a year you have paid for.
Is there a per-bill or per-product charge?
No. Nothing is metered — bills, products, customers and reports are unlimited, at every counter, for as long as you use Cartix.
Why are additional counters charged separately?
A second counter is a second machine billing at the same time, with its own sync and its own setup. It is bought once like the licence itself, and it carries no AMC of its own — one shop, one AMC, however many counters you run.
Is the online store an extra charge?
No. It is part of the AMC. Fair use applies — 2,000 products and 500 orders a month cover any normal shop, and we would talk to you long before that became a problem.
Why is Cartix Watch monthly when everything else is one time?
Because it is the one part with a real cost behind every single use. A payment made once cannot fund AI that runs every day for ten years. Monthly also keeps us honest — if a month of Watch is not earning its ₹199 in your shop, you stop paying for that month. It is entirely optional.
Does my licence cover the Cartix phone apps?
As companions to your counter, yes — Cartix Mobile, Team and Fields are live for your shop while your AMC is active. A shop running on the phone alone, with no counter machine, takes a mobile licence of its own instead.
Can I try it before paying?
Yes. The desktop trial includes 3 products and 10 bills. Activate your licence to remove these limits; your trial data carries straight over.
