Privacy policy

This policy explains how Yellowix Technologies handles information collected through the Cartix website and the Cartix software. It applies to the website at https://cartixpos.com and to data synced by the desktop application.

When you request a download we ask for your name and mobile number. We use these to send you the download link, to help with setup, and to contact you about Cartix. We do not sell them and we do not pass them to advertisers.

The demo form prepares a WhatsApp message in your browser. Your details are shared with WhatsApp and our team only when you choose to send that message. Preparing the message does not reserve a demo time.

We store first-visit attribution (landing page, referrer and campaign parameters) in your browser to understand enquiries. Website interaction events record actions such as demo clicks and product exploration, without including form names, business names or phone numbers in analytics.

The website records standard access logs — page requested, approximate location derived from IP address, browser type — through our hosting provider. These are used to understand traffic and diagnose problems.

Your products, bills, customers and reports are stored on your own Windows machine. A synced copy is kept in our cloud infrastructure so that you can restore onto a new machine and use the owner and staff apps.

We access your shop data only when you ask us to — during a support session, a setup, or a problem you have reported. We do not read it otherwise, and we do not use it to build products for anyone else.

Your customers' names and phone numbers, when you enter them, are yours. You are the data controller for that information and you decide how it is used.

The website does not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. If analytics are enabled, they are configured to record page views without building a profile that follows you around the internet.

Download enquiries are kept while they are useful for supporting you, and removed on request. Synced shop data is kept while your AMC is active, and for a grace period afterwards so that a renewal does not lose anything. Ask us and we will delete it sooner.

Write to cartixpos@gmail.com to ask what we hold about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted. We will act on the request within a reasonable period and confirm when it is done.

If this policy changes materially we will note it on this page and, where the change affects your shop data, tell you directly.
