Offers & marketing

A marketing engine, not a discount field

Big chains run offers because offers work — they just need machinery. Cartix ships that machinery to a single shop: nine kinds of promotions, coupon codes with limits, scratch cards your customers reveal on their own phones, and the one thing nobody else has — a forecast that replays your last 30 days of real bills and tells you what the campaign will actually cost before you launch it.

01 / RUN YOUR BUSINESS

Nine kinds of offers

  • Line and bill discounts — percentage or flat
  • Buy X get Y free, and free units off an existing line
  • Bonus loyalty points during a campaign
  • Grant a product, or issue a scratch card, when a bill qualifies
  • Scope any offer by product, category, brand or price tier
  • Minimum-bill conditions, stack groups, and a max-discount guard per promotion

Coupons that behave

  • Per-customer or open codes, with expiry
  • Max redemptions in total and per customer
  • When a code fails, the cashier sees the exact reason — expired, already used, below minimum — so the counter argument ends

Scratch & Win

  • A qualifying bill issues a card printed on the receipt
  • The customer reveals it on their own phone — the prize is decided server-side, so it cannot be gamed
  • Prizes become coupons for the next visit — the offer brings them back
  • Prize pool editor with odds, and a card limit per bill

Forecast before you launch

  • Cartix replays your last 30 days of real bills through the exact engine that runs at the counter
  • “This campaign would have issued ~1,180 cards and cost ~₹37,700” — real numbers, not odds math
  • The projection uses the same code as the counter, so it cannot disagree with reality

Proof after you launch

  • Promotion P&L — what each offer cost and what it earned
  • Scratch funnel: issued → revealed → redeemed
  • Coupon funnel with redemption rates
  • Fraud report: bills voided after a scratch card was issued

Catalogue Studio

  • Pick products, pick a template, adjust prices — Cartix renders a poster
  • PNG and PDF output, sized for WhatsApp status and print
  • An in-app marketing guide teaches what to run and when

Questions people ask

Do offers work when the internet is down?

Yes. The whole engine — promotions, coupons, loyalty earning — runs locally at the counter. The only step that needs the internet is the customer revealing a scratch card on their phone, because the prize is decided on the server so it stays tamper-proof.

How is the campaign forecast different from a calculator?

It is not an estimate formula. Cartix takes your actual bills from the last 30 days and runs each one through the promotion you are about to launch, using the same code the counter will use. What you see is what would have happened — which is the closest thing to knowing what will happen.

Can a cashier abuse the scratch cards?

The classic trick — bill, take the card, void the bill — is caught by a dedicated report that lists bills voided after a card was issued. Combined with per-staff void limits and the audit log, the loophole closes.
