Distributors & wholesalers

Agreed rates. Accurate orders. Clear collections.

A wholesale bill should remember the deal: which customer gets which rate, what changes at a larger quantity and how much they still owe. Cartix connects those details to orders, stock, supplier purchases and your sales team.

What actually goes wrong, and what Cartix does about it

Every party has a different negotiated price
Set customer-specific rates, price tiers and quantity slabs. Cartix resolves customer overrides, tier prices, quantity slabs and base prices in that order, so staff do not need to remember the agreement.
Booked orders get mistaken for sales
Field orders arrive as documents. Confirm and edit them before converting them into a POS bill. Stock and accounts change when the cashier saves the invoice, rather than when an order is first booked.
Collections fall behind the next delivery
Review receivables in aging buckets, see the projected customer balance at billing and share a party statement through WhatsApp. Keep collections and invoice history together.
Dispatch paperwork is entered twice
Convert orders and delivery challans into tax invoices. Use A4 or A5 printing for B2B customers. Cartix records e-way bill details; generate the e-way bill on the government portal.
Goods move between the shop and warehouse
Use dispatch and receipt stages on stock transfers so movement is visible at both ends. Confirm branch licences, stock locations and device connectivity with the team before rollout.

The modules that matter most here

The counter your staff will use

One screen, keyboard-first, the same in every trade. What changes between industries is the data behind it, not the muscle memory.

  • F2Scan barcode
  • F3Search product
  • F4Pick customer
  • F1Save bill
Cartix point of sale screen showing barcode entry, a two-line bill with GST per line, the Quick Add tile panel and the Save bill button
Point of sale — barcode on F2, product search on F3, customer on F4, save on F1.

Questions people ask

Can schemes apply only to wholesale customers?

Yes. Buy-X-get-Y schemes can be scoped to a price tier, and a tier-specific scheme takes precedence over a general scheme. Test your actual scheme and free quantities in the demo.

Do party rates work without internet?

The pricing engine runs locally, so customer rates, tiers and quantity slabs work at the desktop counter offline. Connected field orders and remote services need connectivity and an active care plan.

Does Cartix replace a full distribution ERP?

Evaluate it against your own order, pricing, collection and transfer requirements. Show the team any manufacturer integrations, complex schemes or supply-chain reporting you require; do not assume those integrations are included.
